Eheim Filters

I have an Eheim 2206 that is about 3 or 4 years old. All of a sudden it has really slowed down as far as how much water it is pumping. Any thoughts? I cleand it all out and still dont get great flow out of it.

maybe its the impeller.

How do you have your media setup? Is there a filter pad right at the top before the propeler? This could be restricting the flow if it leans right up against the propeler

Impeller. You can replace the ceramic shaft, the rubber ends and the magnet and fins. I have had a second hand Eheim that worked but was noisey, and it turned out to have a shaft that was in two pieces. Replaced the shaft and it was great. A good Eheim dealer will have heaps of spares for sale, try online. They really are the best filters ever made.

Did you also clean the hoses? Impeller well? Do you have anything else inline? Please tell us how the media is stacked in the filter.
