The Eheim 3455? I had no idea these things existed, and there's not much information for them on the net. I'm only seeing them for sale in places that are selling them in pounds, so they're from the UK.

http://www.aquaristikshop.com/e_Produktinformationen/EHEIM-Outdoor-pond-filter-3455.htm

That page says they're good for pongs up to 6000 liters, which comes out to over 1,500 gallons. So this thing is far more beastly then a 2260 or 2262.

Anyone ever had one? They seen rare and none too common.

I wonder if they are made for the U.S. voltage wise.

Check your link and just what I thought they operate on 230 volts not compatible with our system.

Filter is not that expensive and it comes with a 230v Pump if you happen to have a Pump already then you paying for the Canister and Accessories that come with it. Still I wonder if you could Buy just the canister as a Part and save some money.

Looks like a Eheim 2250 with the pump on the outside on the ground with a sponge ?
You can do the same with the 2250, 2260, 2262

It say's it holds 16L of media , The 2260 an 2262 are both 18L
