ok looks like found a eheim 2028 filter. it has some media but not all, i was wondering what media i should get for it and how much of each kind of media. any help is appreciated. thanks

You should have 1 basket of ehfimech, and two baskets of ehfisubstrat pro. You can get many other medias, but it is a waste of space to use anything else. The substrat pro doesn't clog easily, and has one of the best surface areas/gallon of any media. I only know of one that has more.
It's going to be $23-30 per 2L box pretty much everywhere. Talk to your LFS, they might be able to get it too you on a good deal.
