Eheim pro 3 help

The pro 3 comes with 2 inlet and 1 outlet.
I'm hard plumbing my pro 3 into my tank and need to know if I tee both of these into 1 will it affect the filter pump at all?
Pipework is 22mm outside diameter 16mm internal and I will be increasing this to 25mm outside diameter 22mm internal??

Reason for this is I'm having the intake for the fx5 1 side and eheim the other and don't particularly want 3 intakes.

i had same issue, i just got the inlet from a 2260 which is 25mm and put a 19mm Y attachment on the end, cut the hoses to the same length and put them both onto the y....didnt seem to affect anything
