I'm just about finish with setting up my 125gal, i am considering upgrading canisters from the Eheim pro 2 to the pro3. I plan to put the Eheim Pro 3 under the tank on the far right side of the stand, having two intake tubes obviously one tube length will be way longer because i want to have the intakes in each back corner of the tank, my question is will the difference in lengths affect the performance or are Eheims so great it doesn't even matter!?

Thanks in advance!:D

It's going to be a couple of feet difference, I suppose i could just try to put it as center as i can.

I would say you will be ok, just put the filter in the middle like you said. Its better that the hose lengh is equal. What you can do is once you set it up and running, take a look at the flow meter and if its at the top then your good to go. If your getting some reduced flow rate then go back to one side.

Im saying yes you will be ok, as I have a pretty tall tank will custom hose and inlets and mine work great. from the bottom of my intake inside my tank to my filter is around 7 feet + or -.
