Over 8 months ago I was l getting ready to buy a house and move out of my apartment so I started planning a new planted tank build. PetSmart was having a sale at the time and I was able to pick up an Eheim Pro II 2026 for $99. Originally I was going to use one of the 55 gallon tanks I already owned but now I decided to get a 75 gallon tank and sold my 55s.
Now I am having trouble deciding if I need a bigger filter. The box says the 2026 has a pump output rated at 209 gph but sites like doctorsfosterandsmith.com say its rated at 250 gph. Anyone have any definitive stats on this filter? Is it possible I just have and old version or something?
