I want to get an Eheim 20800 so I can use it with a turbo-twist UV but I was just wondering how big the hoses are on the eheim so I know which turbo-twist to get. Also does anyone have this set any pics.
Thanks

Howdy,

Just in case you were considering anything smaller: With the flow rate of the 2080, you should go with the 12x (36W). Go /\/\onster

OK thanks. Do you have one? How do you have it setup? Is it mounted or is it just sitting on the ground?
Thanks

No. But flow rate is important to consider, so I thought I'd give this unsolicited piece of advice :D

Sent you a PM. To looooooooong for the board.:) :) :)

I have the 2078 and i've been hearing a lot on these UV sterializers. first, what one do you reccomend? What are the negatives to them? I like to have a couple pleco's cleaning up the tank a UV sterilizer going to remove the alige they eat? My filter & tank are relatively new how long sould i wait to install a UV filter?

thanks guys

Here is a picture of Coralife Turbo Twist to help you out.

its not only to ward off algae particles but to neutralize micro-organisms that could be lethal to your fish. setting it up as fast as you can would be your best bet.

The sterilizers will only kill free floating algae.

FishGoneWild, that is the most mismatched piece of aquarium equipment i have seen! I like it. On that rena canister you have products from 5 different companies!
-Rena Canister
-Marineland Quick Disconnects
-Coralife UV
-Eheim Tubing
-The bucket the rena is living in (leaky?)
