I have a 6ft tank with various american cichlids. WhenI had 2 x eheim 2028 filters the water was crystal clear and never had problems.
I thought I would upgrade to to 2 x eheim pro3 2080 filters. Now the water is not clear, has been like that for weeks on end. Looks like the filters are not doing as a good job as their predecesors.
It seems like I need a 3rd filter just for mechanical filteration as there are little bits of 'floaties' in the water.
I have stocked the pro3's just like they advertise on the box, does anyone have any ideas or advise on how they setup their pro3's?
