eheim pumps

are eheim pumps any good? I heard mostly mag drives are better but the power usage is a lot more. also i use the pumps to get water form my tank to the sump so i am worry about the pump getting clogged by fish crap.

so would fish crap clogg the pump?

With any pump, you have to dissamble and clean every month or so, or run a filter sock so that small particles do not get inside the pump.

Eheim are great pumps. Look out ocean runner pump as well, they put out low heat, quiet and pumps about the same as mag drive and eheim
