EHEIM replacement parts

I have an Eheim wet/dry canister, model 2026 Professional II, with heater. It's a great filter, but the last two times I have cleaned it, it leaked around the main seal, and I had to seal, and reseal, before it ran dependably without leaking.

It must be the seal itself that's the problem--it's roughly 3 years old--but I can't spot any visible wear or damage. I'd like to replace the seal, though. Anyone know a good place to order Eheim parts from??

I got the filter from FosterSmith, but they don't have the replacement parts. I think I can order direct, from Germany, for 25 bucks + shipping, but there must be a better option?

The filter just started leaking again last night, and I couldn't get it to stop, so I had to rush to the LFS and buy another canister.....got a Cascade; no one around here sells Eheim, obviously.

So the 2026 is in retirement, at least temporarily. I'm really ticked off about it right now, but next time I see a good deal on a tank, I'll probably try to get new rubber parts for the Eheim and attempt a resurrection.
