Eheim spray bar mod ?

I got an eheim 2215 with a spray bar and I cant help but think all the pressure to the spray bar slows down water flow. Would it help flow to drill additional holes in the spray bar or not ???

i did the same.... but i drilled holes facing the bottom of the tank so the water flows to the top and bottow

I also drilled new holes in mine. It is for a 2262.
The back pressure was so great that the pump was whinning.
So I drilled 8 or so new holes pointing down that way I had a
surface spray and a lower spray.
She runs like a champ now.

Well looks like Im drilling mine as well. Any other people done this ?
