Eheim spraybar alternative.

I'm getting tired of the splashing noise, anyone knows an alternative for the spraybar?

Eheim diffuser is an option if you wanted/didn't mind the bubbles it creates. I have one on my 2217, I'm not sure if that would decrease noise though...

Would the diffuser reduce the outflow?

I doubt it, it's hard to compare the spray bars with it though.

Put the spray bar below water level

It's not your only option. It's one I took over the normal spray bar because it oxygenstes the water.

I can't, I need a reasonable gap between water level and my glass top inorder to reduce the chance of my bichirs from jumping out of the tank
