i picked up an ehiem 2213 classic with media and everything new. I know that they are good filters and have done plenty of research, and i know numbers don't lie but $79. Has the seller lost his mind a little or am i just getting a good deal? I haven't experienced ehiem yet, I have internal, hob's, and an fluval fx5. Love it by the way!:D

its a good deal you save like 30$ or so :)

the classics are good filters but a pain when cleaning and sometimes hard work to get closed

you also need to buy double taps which are expencive

The double taps go on the intake and return lines for ease of maintenance. You turn them both off, disconnect the lines and remove the filter for cleaning. You really do need them if they did not come with the filter.

the double taps are expencive £15 each and you need 2 so $60

if you are buying 2 x classic filters you need 4 x double taps so $120
