ehiem 2217 acting wierd?

Heres a link to the video I took. the problem is, yesterday I started hearing a wierd noise and I couldnt figure out what it was but I noticed its my 2217. Its not making any like vibrating noise or anything like that. I noticed that its doing what its suppose to with the outflow its still spraying water into the tank but every couple minutes it makes a loud noise and shoots a jet of water out, does anyone know what I can do to fix this? I tried turning off the shut offs and even unplugging it and it still didnt help.

but hows that happen if it was running perfectly fine and then it just started doing that while it was running? how do you prime it? lol I didnt have to when I set it up, it did it itself. what all do I have to do so water doesnt get everywhere
 
Two things: 1. How do you have the cannister packed with media, (from bottom to the top) 2. When is the last time you took the impeller and ceramic post out to examine and clean? I have the classics and when properly packed with media this should not happen when you have the right flow/pressure set ups.
 
I fixed it. ive only had it running for two weeks. I have it packed the way it says on the box.
 
nevermind lol I had the valves shut off on the inflow tube I forgot to open them, and it still isnt fixed... I tried to level out the filter media better to see if that would make a difference but it didnt its still doing it. can it be caused because my bubble bar is under it. could it be sucking up the bubbles and causing it to do it?
 
okay thanks I didnt no if thats what was causing it because it wasnt doing it to my other filters lol
