Anyone else used one of these and had problems with like i have? The heating element has gone out on me twice and now they dont make them any more

EHIM BREAKING!!!! LIES!!! BLASPHEMER!! J/k....but seriously the ehim fan club wont belive this one. I feel for ya man...but I never had a prob with my old school Ehim canister. If you decide to replace the unit...I would highly suggest your next filter being a cheap and simple one, they last forever.
^^^ I had 2 300 watt Hydors fail on me within 6 months....both were off over 10 degrees, one cooked my qt tank
I have a 300 watt inline Hydor on my ehim now and its been good for about a year now. and the tubing on it is 5/8
Are we talking the in-line type? I have heard of issues with their standard glass tube types but never with the in-lines. My in-lines have been running for over 2 years with out an issue.
