Eigenmannia virescens Size question.

Hello, Does anyone here know if Eigenmannia virescens will actually get to 16 inches? I’ve read that the females get to 8 inches but the males get double so I would like to know if anyone here can answer my question or if anyone here has kept them for any considerable amount of time.

Supposedly its 17 inches but from what I heard the common size is 7 to 10 inches.

Did you hear it from a forum, online, etc? If you can remember where you read it then I’d love a link if you can.

No sorry I didn't hear it online it was from a buddy of mine who had one for 5 years and it stayed too about 10 inches.
