Electric Blue Acara a pair, trio or harem?

Hello , I had a question regarding EBA'S would it be better to have a pair , trio or harem (1 Male to 3 females ).


Size tank 75g.

Either will work. My dominant male usually has the 3 females following him around everywhere. They dont fight unless one is settling down to lay eggs. 75 gallon should be plenty of room to mitigate that though. You may end up with several clutches of eggs in different parts of the tank.

Thanks for the response, turns out the guy who I am getting them from has 5 available he thinks he has 3 females 2 males (he isnt 100% sure and wants to rehome them due to not having the time to care for them) but I currently already have a Male. What do you think I should do?

They should all be fine if the males are all of somewhat equal size. But if one is particularly aggressive one or both of the other males could be squeezed out. Same goes for the females. Give some good hiding spots in different areas of the tank to give yourself a better chance of success.
