Have you tested your water parameters lately?

Water is fine the tank has been running for over 2 years it’s just I have never come across this before tank mates are

red tail botia loaches
3 gold rams
Blue phantom
Royal pleco
And two other Eletcric Blue

Yesterday it was two of them acting like this but now it’s just the one and it’s the biggest EBA that is acting like this.

Also he tank is 160 gallon

Thanks all

It kinda looks like theyre scanning for fry getting sucked into the filter. Ive seen my severums do something like this when my EBAs had fry.

That being said, check water parameters and make sure your water temp is stable. Did you do a large water change recently?

He passed away the other is fine.

I had an idea it was swim blabber and I tried giving the fish a Espom salt bath however it didn’t work.

Near the anus and on the side of the fish became dark red and I found him dead

I don’t know what has coursed the death maybe over feeding on my part or more to the point the size of the pellets I have been giving I have changed them now and changing the feeding timeline to make it fit the fish

All others in the tank are fine.

Thanks
