Is there anyone out there that has bred or can give me some info on breeding these beauties.Just got 8 of them for my 90 gallon.They are with 2 Cory Catfish and 10 Serpae Tetras.I read they are originally from Asia,maybe line bred.And have been in this country for only a few years.They are from 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 inches.Info such as what size do they start breeding?Difference between male and female? Are they good parents?Will they eat the eggs/fry.Do they breed true(all fry will be EBA)?Are they like other Cichlids and it takes a few times before they get it right?When they do pair up what is the minimum tank size for a pair?What is the maximum size they will get(I read they possibly get a little smaller than the Blue Acara)?I know there are some posts on this forum and others about the EBA,but they just don't give me the all the answers I'm looking for.Maybe I should just look at the posts on the Blue Acara and go by that info?Pic of some them are in my avatar.Thanks

So they breed around 3-4 inches sometimes smaller, they actually breed true unlike electric jack Dempsey. They are good parents even though my pair split up but never had them eat eggs. My pair is in a 45 gallon tank and they are just fine and the male will max out at 5 -6 inches and the female 4-5
