Electric Blue Crayfish; Inquiries...

Hello All,
So I've decided that for my 10 gallon tank I'm going to put in some Electric Blue Crayfish. Actually, I hear they eat each other and cannibalize so I will probably get one Electric Blue Crayfish in a 10 gallon tank. Anyways, PETCO said they will eat pellets off the bottom and to put gravel or find sand on the bottom, is this true?

i seen like 30 of them in a tank no problem...jus keep them fed
they do eat the ones that die tho..i dubt they kill each other they wer all blue powders and blue tigers

Crayfish will cannabilize each other. When dealing with crayfish the one rule to remember is that a crayfishes favorite food is another crayfish.

Your plan to house one 'electric blue lobster' (most likely a Pocambarus alleni or Procambarus clarkii) in a 10 gallon tank is a very good plan.

They will eat sinking pellets. That is the main thing I feed mine.

They'll eat anything offered to them, not picky eaters at all.
