Electric Blue Dempsey ADULT photos anyone?

Was wondering if anyone had photos of adult Electric Blue Dempsey.

I am starting to wonder if these fish ever make it to adulthood because I never see pictures of larger older fish.

I do not own any of these fish, but I cannot stop thinking about them.

There slow growing fish tho so if your after it to add it with larger fish you may wanna re think they go well with smaller cichlids like Firemouths, Convicts, Slavinis, Jade eye's .
 
not only are they gorgeous as babies but they are extremmely gorgeous as adults to...sweet pic
 
that is a great pic! jacks are great. I wonder though, is it possible to just have some fancy lighting and get a regular jd to look that good? I'm not saying that the pic above is not an electric blue, but if a certain kind of blue, or black light was used, could a normal jd get that bright looking?
 
My suggestion would be to keep it alone in a tank to get some size. I had it w/ convicts and the convicts stole all the food, they fish was really delicate.

just because its a JD...doesnt mean it acts like one (in my case)
 
My first Blue made it to 6 inches but he went blind in one eye and started swimming crooked and his spine eventually became deformed. It KIIIIIILLED me but I had to put him down.

Another one I got just died last month at 3 inches. No apparent reason and the other fishes in the tank are all 100% healthy. I have 4 in a ten gallon I got from Jeff R, they are about 1 1/2 inches right now and look ubar healthy and FAT.

Keeping my fingers crossed.
