Hello, my fellow fish heads. I recently acquired 2 electric blue dempseys at about 1-1.5 inch sizes. The largest is about 3 inches now
My questions are these guys seem to vary there color alot more than the other chiclids I have had. They are patchy in color will the blue come out as they mature or can they be patchy like the juvenile pics. The only reason I ask is that there are large areas on them with not alot of the blue pigment.
dont think they are stressed in a 70 gallon now with only a 2 inch clown loach and a 3 inch vampire pleco
Diet I vary, blood worms, brine shrimp, chiclid gold pellets and flakes
Any ideas or observations they do not seem ill.
