I was at my LFS the other day, when I spotted a beautiful electric blue jack dempsey. He is still a little guy, but has beautiful markings--I just know he's going to be gorgeous when he grows up.
However, he has a large white spot on the lens of his left eye--it almost looks like he has a white pupil. Likewise the other eye has the spot as well, but not nearly as large. I can't tell if the fish is blind, or can't see past the spot on his eye.
The LFS let me adopt him--unsure of what this is. I have him in 10 gallon right now with some melafix, some salt, and some "API Pro Series Fungus Cure" that supposedly gets rid of eye cloud.
Does anybody have a diagnosis of what this is, or how to treat it?
