Electric Blue Jack Dempsey with BalaSharks?

Would it be realistic to raise a EBJD and Bala Shark school together in a 180gal tank? Or would the Dempsey eventually become to aggressive for the Balas?

i think it would be okey if the bala´s are not to small, because they grow slower than the EBJD but if they grow up together then i think they will be good partners

If anything, I'd have thought the EBJD would grow slower than the Bala sharks.

I would just watch them for awhile. if one starts growing too fast compared to the other, I would consider rehousing though. Since both are apt to eat the other if it'll fit in its mouth. Though if Bala sharks grow slowly, then you are good because EBJDs are realllllllly slow growers.

bala sharks go great with semi aggro cichlids. i think a bala could outswim any cichlid btw
