I went to the lfs and saw a 5 or six inch electric blue jack dempsey for 25.00 dollars:drool: So of course i picked him up , not the best looking ebjd looks a little beat up and maybe deformed but an ebjd none the less. And for 25 dollars i l think it was steal beatup , deformed or not but here are some pics for you guys to decide.

Gorgeous fish....I bet it turns out just fine......But watch that pink stuff on the gill plate, and white thick slime coat......make sure it doesn't spread or get worse.....I almost lost a 7" one with the same thing......they are prone to bacterial infections, need clean water....UV sterilizer helps.......and don't like really hard water.....

ok will try and i do have a uv , so i will use it and how did you heal that 7 incher up
