Electric Catfish with Piranha?

I have a 140 gal planted tank with 5 red bellies and 2 gold piranha. There are also 3 bushey nose plecos. What do you think the outcome would be if i added an electric catfish to the mix?

death for the catfish, the piranha or the plecos? guy at LFS said that the catfish shock wont kill the fish and i was hoping the zap would keep the piranha off of him. no deals?

Thats an understatment... that cat will put up enough shock to damn sure leave a bad taste in your mouth if he gets to close... what do you think would happen to a little fish... can anyone say Dead Fish Floatin!

are you kidding me
all the other fish will go bye bye by the time they say "catfish meal"
but that is debatable i guess and shouldn't be checked to see who is right

That E cat will toast every other fish in the tank starting with the first ones that try to mess with it...i.e....pirahnas. Only fish I know for sure that survive with E cats safely are synodontis catfish. Used to have a 10-12" E cat
