Hey there. i've got a 12 cm long Electric cat. The tank is relatively lagre....and bloody empty (aside from feeders). I was wondering. Is there any fish out there that can withstand any form of aggression from the Electric catfish, and survive, while at the same time, not pose a threat to my little guy. Any suggestions?

hmm...ok. I heard upside down cats can survive with these buggers....or something of that sort

i put mine with pleco n african butterfly fish. doing fine. in small aquarium.
the rule of thumb is not to put him bottom dweller who moves too much.

The guy I bought my 300g from told me his friend had a little electric cat in with his RTC. The RTC would try to eat the lil bugger, it would zap him and he'd spazz for a second, and swim to the other side of the tank. They thought it was killing the RTCs brain cells or just really pissing it off cause he said that the older the RTC got, the more it would try to eat the electric.
I don't know if any of that is true... just a story i heard, but I figured it had some truth when the guy told me his buddies and him would get drunk and grab the lil e.cat to see how much shock it had.

No wonder you got such a good deal on that tank... they were drunks LOL

Seriously though... your pretty limited to the e-cat... and a couple of types of synos that are immune to the shock... other than that.. species only tank

Well I'm not going to complain. Cheap 300g... I didn't care what they were lol

Oh I know! More e.cats! a whole swarm of em! :D
