Bought a electric catfish its around 4 inchs.A community tank.!2 e- cats and red belly piranha (small ) and 7 inch short body red tail catfish!!just wanted to know is it a good compatible fish community?

RTC can probably eat them if large enough. Piranha will likely shred the other fish first, they grow fast and can do some real damage.
I don’t know much about electric cats, but I wouldn’t want to mix anything with a high voltage fish with the word “electric” in the name.

Actually I underestimated electric cat size. If you have the 4 ft type the RTC probably couldn’t eat it, I wouldn’t be sure about the 1 foot species though.

Either way, it is a mix that I can’t see lasting long. If they are anything like electric eels in function, those cats could kill the tank, and the piranha is really best left species only.

My e cats are 4 inchs(10cm)approx and my short body rtc is about 7inch(17cm).My red belly is pretty small and it doesnt mess with anyone still yet..!!my only concern SB rtc eating my e cats..!!!?

My piranha went from calm to dangerous at exactly 3 inches.
Rtc grow fast, it could take out an electric cat as long as it fits in its large mouth, most likely choking it and killing both.
I would not recommend mixing any of these species.

Moral of the story the e cats are weak enough..!!?that it cannot even defend itself from the rtc

Oh they are still powerful, 350 volts is over half as much as an electric eel. That could hurt the cat easily.

Im really confused at this point.I really want to keep the e cats and sb rtc.I dont known what to do..!!I kept it for one day bt dont know about the future.!They dont mess with each other.!My only concern the rtc eating the e cats..E cats are super rare and expensive..!!I dont wanna lose it..!Help me!

Don’t keep them together..
