Electric eel

I'm looking for threads on electric eels. Went 7 pages didn't find anything. My special oddball lfs is going to get me an electric eel on my request. He said he can get one about 1' to 2' long. I like big base area tanks, like 4'x4'. probably not very tall. I'd sure like some ideas. I don't want to move him when he gets big, what is it, 5' is normal? If any one with experience can respond with info I'd appreciate a reply.

Mine made it 15 years in a 75, from about 18" to 5' seemed to do just fine....
 
He said it would be about $40. I'm sorry I can't tell much about my lfs. I's too good. This isn't the season yet so I'll have to wait. He sais no problem though getting one. I just want to find out first what getting into. I also want to put out a thread on measuring volts. I have a Fluke meter, but not sure how to make contact with the probes to get a reading. Anyone who's done this please reply. There's an aquarium in Japan that lit up a Christmas tree. If I had an E-Mail for them I could ask. I'll keep searching Mfk.
