electric eels

jesus thats expensive. but i dunno what the weather is like over where you are. is this pond indoor or outdoor..

E eels need to be in a tank with a heavy top or they will crawl out to search out other ponds. Also keep in mind that these "eels" are actually a knife species and a properly heated and filtered setup is required for them to keep them healthy.

that would prolly explain why my friend's E eel went missing. He kept his in a pond with some monster fish. and he thought his gar ate it..

oh...ok nvm then.

but the pond is outside and the weather has been up to 116 degrees (2day) and gets to about 38 during the winter....gatta love the desert.

well according to what oddball meant i dont think the temp is as muchh of a problem. its the eel trying to relocate its self.
