Electric eels?

Hi I'm new to the forum and was wanting to know how many people on here keep electric eels? If so how big and what's your set up like? I'm thinking about getting on in a year or two but want to do my home work first. Thanks

Electric eels are actually a large species of knife fish. I'll move this to the appropriate forum.

I know they can hit 6+ft in the wild and at 3ft can kill a grow man with their shock. That was enough for me to decide that I'll probily never keep one.

I own one about 3ft and the circumference of my forearm. Really lazy fish but cool as all he!! to own.
