How is their aggression? I purchased one being told it would be fine with my African brown knife and my electric blue acara. I wanted a cichlid that would be out and about I have 1 male Eba and one male Texas now. Will they all be okay? So far within the first 30 minutes my acara is terrified of the Texas and my knife is quite intrigued going up and knudhing him a few times.

I'm guessing your electric green Texas is just a carpintis. And imo way more aggressive than an acara. Will get way bigger and possibly kill it
Post some pics of this fish I want to see how electric it is lol

I agree with the above, if you have a Herichthys carpintus, they are generally thought of as high on the aggression scale.
That said, its all about the size of your tank. If your tank is at east 6ft long and 100 gallons or over, an H carpintus "might" be fine. It it is under that size, as the carpintus reaches its potential adult size, and alpha status (if a male), no other cichlid will be safe with it. Especially another cichlid with iridescent blue coloring.

What tank size? Like Duanes said, could work in a 6' tank. But yea carpintis are much more aggressive and much larger at full size than an acara. I'd atch for interaction though, I have found in some cases large aggressive cichlids just ignore smaller tankmates, even cichlids in some cases, because they don't see them as a threat. I would watch them closely with divider in hand, and split them up if the carpintis does anything other than completely ignore the acara.
