Electric J.D.

Just picked up a electric blue J.D. Anybody know anything about these? It has the color of a Discus and the body of a cichlid. I had heard of them, first time I've seen one. It's a great looking fish but didn't like the price!

Does it look like my big fellah "Maurice" ? I love this guy, he's the nicest looking fish I have. He's growing slow, eats mainly spirulina (yeah i know...weird...) and will rarely take a feeder.

He is not agressive, but when the tankmates come too close, he basically just looks at them and they leave him alone

you might want to, because this blue dempsey is def. worth it

hell yeah they are sweet ,but they are less agressive and more fragile too
not for the beginner though....

they are very prone to disease, make sure that your water conditions are perfect. if they get stressed they can die easily

You guys are right, prone to diseases and fragile fish. Gotta be careluf with them, but mine is well worth it

That is a nice Blue Dempsey. I hope mine grows out like that. I really enjoy mine. Had him for a couple months now.
