Hey so I have an electric yellow cichlid who did happen to breed with my male, and she did have eggs in her mouth and was acting like it(guarding an area, swollen throat, not eating) not she left that area, start eating, and doesnt have that swollen throat. Now im pretty sure it was on november 15th that she mated, cause my sister saw the breeding happening. and probably about after a week i noticed she didnt have her swollen throat and was acting normal and eating. I assume she ate her eggs.
