hey, hello everyone, its my first thread on MFK.i just bought 2 electric yellow lab and i wish to breed them.first,i thought 1 is male and 1 is female but later i saw that both have brown strip on eye,is it sure way of sexing but later venting indicated that 1 is male and 1 is female. Both have black anal fish but one fish's is very diminished and just a line so can it be a female and can a female have brown stripe on eye.if so,PLEASE tell me at what size will they breed, they are about 2.5" now so please help me about their condition and temperature and their first brood size.
THANKS A LOT

had them breed at 1.5 inches.. female has black on there eyes also.. best way is to vent them to be certain on sex.

they are with 4 texas cichlid and 4 firemouth cichlid and i was wondering if they will interrupt them and will my chocolate albino pleco interrupt them by eating their eggs even if they are mouthbrooders.they follow each other half way and then again leave each other and follow others but that is not at all aggressive as i think ;) and if my texas are pairing up i don't know why firemouths start peeping in and they stop that there ;) so they are also not able to breed the temp. i keep is 29-30 degree C .so, i don't know what to do with all of them as texas are also 3" and firemouths are also 4" and they are also pairing but none is able to breed so should i use a diviver or what :( PLZ tell me i wish to breed all of them but none is breeding and i am sure that i have pairs as they are slapping their tails and body and go aside but FM's interuppt all of them so PLZ advice me about this and can you tell me how much eggs texas and FM's lay at once when at an average of 3.5"-4".
THANKS AGAIN AND PLEASE KEEP RESPONSING .

Can anyone help me by posting pics of their venting of yellow lab as i tried venting mine and am a bit confused as both tried to flap out of my hands and i was unable to check out clearly ;) so PLZ can u post some pics of venting process .if my 2 labs are not chasing but following and are no aggressive but there are some other banana cichlids too in tank so might to rule the tank male has developed a more prominent black and female a light black line which is sometimes whitish and sometimes greyish so is it a female and other ones is always a jet black so i think its a male .PLZ tell me i think i m correct but maybe :( i m wrong .
PLZ SOMEONE SUGGEST ME
