Its official, my yellow labs love to scare the crap out of me.

I have a bunch of a floating plants in my tank that always congregate near the FX5 intake. Every morning when I wake up one of my labs is "sleeping" against the intake (always on a weird angle).

I have to check to make sure it's still breathing. It always is and quickly swims away. The fish acts normal everything other time, just not when it sleeps.

Has anyone else ever found this?

What size tank do you have the FX5 on?

Have you checked water parms lately? And how stocked is the tank? Notice any similar behaviors from any fish

FX5 is on a 46G bowfront (flow's turned down so I don't blow the fish against the side of the tank)

Params are perfect 0 Ammonia, 0 Nitrite, <15 Nitrate.

Tank is stocked heavily with fry (now reaching 2") but only the labs do this... During the day they're really lively and darting all over the tank playing with eachother and the other fish.

Labs are notorious for thngs like this.Mine sleep against my filter all the time(vertical) I know lots of other people that have labs that do it
