Ok so i have 1 male and two female electric yellow in a tank with various other cichlids. My question is first, i have one female holding but she seems very stressed and is at the top of the tank is this normal and if not how can i fix it? Also is it possible for the male to fertilize both female within a couple days? and how would i tell if the second female is ready to lay eggs? her vent is kinda sticking out like maybe it could be eggs. If they are both going to be holding can i put both females in a seperate tank together to release the fry or will they eat each others babes. Thanks ive only ever had breeding convicts.
P.S. Everyone is getting along nicley when not breeding so pls no lectures on combination of fish, Thanks
