Anyone have an electric catfish? This is another fish that I recently discovered, that I find very interesting. Any pics or information would be appricated

I had one it is a nasty looking fish nothing at all interesting to look at but managed to kill a 2 foot snakehead and a 1 ft goby before I got it out the tank never again...... if you want a pic e mail me and i will send you some
They are perhaps a neat novilty item but not a good aquarium fish. Very rishy to keep with other fish, pretty boreing fish to own. Not the most attractive fish either.
They are one of the most unique electric fishes around, with massive electric organ discharge up to 350Volts recorded.
They are actually very personable and a joy to own. They can have tank mates with very careful selection. But whatever tankmates you have, its better to stick with fast moving surface dwellers. Obviously there are exceptions as you will see in my thread.
