Electrical box problems

I have a brand new house and there is only one circut in the basement, i had three different electritions come out and give me estimates, the one I decided on came out and did the work today, he got all the outlets wired up and when he took the cover off the panel even though it had 10 knockouts left it had no more room, the buses stoped at the last breakers installed, all of the electritions that came to give me estimates were legit and all of them told me i had room in the panel no one bothered to take the front panel off and check, we got the problem solved with some mini breakers but if i want to add more in the future now i have to replace the whole panel or run a subpanel, it almost derailed my whole room because its getting cold and the fish need heaters lol

Lol no its a brand new 1500 sq ft ranch style

you can feed ten outlets off of one feed going to the panel unless the code is different out there

Might as well get a subpanel, this will also give you room for a whole house surge protector. If you replace the panel you're going to have to pull the meter to kill power to the whole house, whereas a subpanel can be done with the furrent panel being hot.
