Just curious if anyone has looked into this. I have seen water testers for one parameter but not multiple. And if this was made would you get one instead of using chemical test kit.

An affordable electronic meter that measures accurately the main water parameters often checked by fishkeepers would be fantastic, but IMO it's a bit like asking for an affordable Ferrari that seats six plus luggage and gets 100mpg. Cheap electronics aren't accurate, accurate electronics aren't cheap. Accurate electronic devices that have a number of functions are likely to be even more expensive...

I've been wanting to make an electronic water tester. Even if it just gave an approximate value I think it would still be nice.

I worked in the water industry, there are a number of electronic testers that measure multiple parameters.
The problem is cost.
I used a colormetric analyzer that measured over 100 different species of chemicals water, but to use it, water samples still had to be inoculated with reagents, blank aliquots had to run in combination with standards, and AT guys had to come in and repair and run maintenace regularly

and the unit cost about the same as a new car.
There are also hand held models that measure a small amount of parameters, one that comes to mind is the Hach conductivty/salinity model, I used it every day, and it needed to be calibrated at least once per day with a known standard. It was about the price of a computer.
Even these small units for measuring chloramine were out of my price range

Yeah I know, I feel like the grim reaper sometimes, working in water has been an eye opener.
I do think the advances in technology will someday make a user friendly and inexpensive tester, sooner the better.

Yea I have seen some tech in the oil field. So I know about ridiculous pricing. I do hope I can find the parts and make them cheaply but not have something that feels or looks cheap. And if I can do this you guys on mfk will be the first to know it.lol
