Elephant Nose Arriving Today

I have a 6" Elephant Nose arriving today I hope. He's going to share a 55 gal with 3 members of my Insane Clown Loach Posse, a BristleNose pleco and a goofy silly metallic gold GOLDfish. I had them before, know they're sensitive to meds and they like to sneak out. I'll be feeding bloodworms. My ph runs really high (well) 8.8 brought to 8.4 with almond tree leaves. Anyone else have E.Noses or experience with them? I want to make sure I do it all right, when I had them before I didn't know about the 8th wonder of the world, MFK. Input welcome. I need someone to laugh at my silly stories.

I'm getting a underwater amp and hooking up speakers to listen to his sonar. Gonna wire it into the main stero, got the whole diagram off google.

add some peat of a softener pillow to get the ph down. that is too high.

I have to mail order supplies pretty much. I can drop the ph with Almond leaves, my lfs advised e.n.'s could handle a high ph, what range can they handle in your opinion? and one more, ideal temp in F degrees? I run on a well and haul r/o water my ph is always high but I've never (knock on wood) had a problem from it. My loaches thrive. My tank has been stable for a long time now. I just read the zeolyte warning and now am facing do I remove that too? Ahhhhhhhh

my 2 10cm elephant nose are doing superb in a tanganyikan condition.

i had a 3cm ones but that didn't last long.
