Depends the africans, but I wouldn't suggest it. They will likely starve it to death.

the only way I can see it happening is in a big tank with maybe just some Cyps, but I wouldn't mix them at all

i have mine mixed with cichlids from tanganyikan. eg altos, callochromis, xenotilapia etc.

my elephant nose is the boss. even tries to kick out the ghost knife whenever it comes to rest in his area. my elephant will nudge ghosty but the ghost knife ignores it and the elephant nose will soon giveup and stay together
