eliminating snails on plants

i just recently bought a bunch of java moss for my new bichirs and it came in with baby snails in it. it's quite a lot. i temporarily placed the java moss on a big container and not in the tank. any idea of eliminating the snails? i don't want snails in my tank.

the java moss is actually for my new bichir and i don't have any clown loach though. any other method? if aquarium salt how much salt?

You can just run them under water and gently pick the snails off. The hardest part is getting the egg sacks off (they stick to everything). If you rinse if off really well (even in old tank water after a water change if your worried about the clorine) you shouldn't have a problem. Just rinse it off well a few days in a row and pick the snails out of its temp holding tank, after a few days you should be fine. Just give it a good eye balling before you throw them in the main tank.
