That Fish Place has their anniv. sale this weekend 25% off all fish stock and I've been eyeing their S. Elongatus for months but $100 seemed alittle salty for a 3-4" fish. He's grown over the months, 5-6" maybe now and 25% off. I scooped him up at that price. - Anyways - I knew last month he bit an employee cleaning his tank well today he got another. As the associate netted the fish his teeth got stuck in the net. Then the most boneheaded thing I've seen in awhile, the assoc. stuck his finger into the net, into the 5" Elongatus mouth to try to dislodge him - YOOOOOOOOOOUUUCCCCHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! - He screamed very loudly, swinging his hand around, jumping up and down. Me holding the box with the P stuck in the net could barely hold back from bursting into laughter, my woman behind me chuckling "you idiot" - fortunately the wound was nowhere near as dramatic as the reaction of the bitten employee - but geez what was he thinkin' stickin' his finger in a Piranhas mouth. We got the fish outta the net by using the butt end of another net and he's doin' great in his new home - and a lifetime of drama to be told.
