Got a Elong. A few months back and what a stud it turned out to be! Got it quite skinny and it bulked up quick. Not skittish at all and stays infront of the tank all day.

I feed it strips of trout, tilapia or shrimp stuffed with 1.5mm pellets and Vita-Chem twice a week. Only took 2 months for it to get bulky.
Nice looking elong. I just got one few days ago. How long did it take to settle in?
Took a week or 2 for it to get settled in. Started eating frozen the very next day. The colors didn't start showing until I changed form a bare bottom to a black sub.
Nice. Had mine for a week now and he is slowly starting to come around. Still hides behind log but comes around
