Elroy (24” African lung) and Zeus ( Dovii) have been living together in this 125 for a couple months now in a grow out, until I get motivated to finish restoring the 300. I’ve read so much how the lung will snap one day but I’ve never had a problem, I hand feed him and he pays no attention to the Dovii. Zeus the Dovii is about 5-6” now and still scared to death of his own shadow. I know some don’t start being super aggressive until about 10” or so but my question is do you think he’s growing slower because he sees the lung as the dominant fish? He eats fine and always has a variety of pellets, blood worm and what have you.
