ok first off i'm selling a striped bass on ebay to see what it will bring ok. so i get this email from a guy( here it is)

*** do you have any muskie? if so i live in pittsburgh i would love to purchase some thanks < insert ebay name here > **

SO I REPLY THIS **** no i do not sorry .but with a muskie beaing able to reach 5 plus feet they are not an aquarium fish the striper i'm selling need a huge aquarium for a muskie you would need a lake !!!!

AND THEN I GET THiS !!!!!!!!!!

****I know i had them before i have a 180 gallon aquarium they got pretty big i ended up leaving them go at my near by lake. i was looking to raise some more these fish are awesome thanks anyways but if you do come across some let me know *****

so being a mfk promoter i sent them this !!!

MY EMAIL TO HIM :headbang2

wow not to make you mad but you should never let a fish that you raised in an aquarium go in a lake there can be big problems with that. here you need to look at this site and read this article http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18675
this site is awsome!!!! alot of great info and good people

i love being able to turn people to this site !!!!

ahah nice, so what he like frequently raises em in his 180 Gal. and release them in the lake once they get too big????:screwy:

hybrid striper ! in a 300 ........... till i can fishish my big one there are 5 of them and ther 5 inches long i dont cram 30 fish in a 29 gallon

i tried i hate seeing fish cramed in anything........ then throw them in your lake

Depends on the lake and what he is raising them up in. If all he has are them, and he puts them in a private lake similar to stocking, it could be fine.... of course that is a lot of ifs...lo

great job passing on the advice!

It's a local fish, no harm in that. The only reason you wouldnt let one go is b/c your introducing a non-native species

there also the chance of releasing aquarium diseases into the wild, that may not be present already.
