ember tetras

They stay small at 1.5 inch. A 10g can support 10-12 of these well enough and are hardy in fact. Good luck.:thumbsup:
 
Cool, somewhat uncommon tetra! Pick 'em up while you can!
 
They're an awesome, very small tetra...not commonly seen, either. IME, they're very hardy, and they DO look great in a planted tank. That's where I've got mine.
 
I thought the embers stayed a bit smaller at about 1" max? And I had thought about getting them for my 10g, but decided on pygmy cories instead :P

With a 10g, you can try both.;)
