That was some impressive glass in the pictures . The D200 seems to be in favor .

Where can I find the dude with that D2X and 600mm f/4? I want to meet him in a dark alley somewhere, haha.

We don't really have any shots on hand as those who tried the equipment are supposed to use their own CF card.

Our purpose of doing this is actually to try and promote nature awareness/photography, and also to show case some new equipments plus let participants have a feel/hands on using these big guns as not everyone will have such chances to do so even in camera shops.

Imagine just within a few hours of the event, you get to try out equipments like D2H/HS/X, D200, 200mm f/2, 200-400mm f/4, 300mm f/2.8 VR, 400mm f/2.8, 500mm f/4, and 600mm f/4 :lol:

You are right! D200 was the star of the day as it has only been launched on our island 3 days before the event ;)

Impressive gears which add up to be of scary value. The total cost of the equipments can easily let you purchase 2 brand new vehicles already :-o And with almost 50 participants, it sure is a blast.
