So I have had a 75 sitting in my garage for awhile. I finally have the space to put it up.
I was pulling it out to clean it and it looks like there is a chip in one of the seams. The
part that sucks is it's near one of the bottom corners. Opinions? Maybe use something
to fill in the chip and improve the seal?

I have it about 3/4 of the way filled, and so far no leak. No cracks coming off the area
around the chip either. I took the best pics I could.

yea keep it filled a few weeks, i had an old 30 long when i was younger, my first "big" tank over 10. it was chipped all to hell and worked for years and it still out in my garage waiting for use again.

I say empty it, seal the chip with silicone, then seal over the corner on the inside. You could fill it and let it sit for a few days if there's been no leaking or movement of the chip then you're golden.

I would say that using epoxy to fill the chip and resealing inside might be best course of action ,,then fill and leave in garage for a couple weeks to test...

Thanks for the responses guys. It's held for 48 hours without any leaking, cracking, or general chaos. So I will drain it, fill the chip with silicone or epoxy, and then do another water test. Then hopefully I'll be ready to fill it up and start cycling it. Assuming the water test goes well.
